1. How to get your EG SIM Card?
*You can buy online at EG SIM Card Homepage.
*The SIM Card values are 20,000 KRW.
*The SIM Card will expired after 60 days from the data recharge.
*You have 3 choice of collecting method ; Collection place, Delivery Service or Overseas Delivery Service.
*They have 2 type of SIM Card. Hybrid SIM cost 5,500 KRW or NANO SIM cost 9,900 KRW
*They give you 3 choice of data services. 100MB, 500MB or 1GB.
2. Data service option.
* It is posibble to use 20,000 KRW for calling and surfing internet at the same time.
* You can choose data service option for surfing internet.
- For 30 days validity period, we offer 3 different data plan depending on the amount of data you need.
- 1) 1GB is 16,500 KRW (Olleh wi-fi is available, 30 day-Validity),
- 2) 500MB is 11,000 KRW (Olleh wi-fi is available, 30 day-Validity),
- 3) 100MB is 5,500 KRW (Olleh wi-fi is unavailable, 30 day-Validity)
- If you don’t choose data service option, you will charge 62 KRW per 1MB by meter rate when using data service.
- Data charges are non-refundable while using the data service.
- Data balance will not be carried forward next month.
- If your voice credit has zero balance or data credit has zero balance, you can't use data temporarily until you recharge for voice or data.

I would not recommend EGSIM. When you enter the country you need to go through a whole identification process, when you leave the country they know and will immediately disable the sim. Your cash balance will be gone. Aside from the point, it is way more expensive and a hassle. It is just spooky that they track when you leave the country. Also be aware that without a wifi you are not able to activate the card. You also need to provide them a photocopy of your passport. So a whole hassle, better ask your local telco for a datapackage for Korea. That was at least my experience.

DeleteYeah.. It will be disable to used if you out of the country. And the sim card only can used in Korea only.. It's a waste but if you want to stay connect with your love one in others country, I think you need the sim card too.. if you buy the sim card at mart, no need to provide the photocopy of your passport. If you want to activate it yourself, you just need to snap of your passport directly..
That's my experience.. I do it my self but the price is too much for me.. That's all..
