Place you can go or visit during Seollal Holiday in Seoul


This year's Seollal is on January 25 and the Seollal holiday period is from January 24 to 27. During the Seollal holiday, many attractions in Seoul are tend to be close.

For those is visiting Korea during this period are recommended to check the holiday schedule in advance.

Major historical attractions in Seoul offer Free Admission!


To celebrate the Seollal Holidays on January 25, major historical attractions in Seoul offer Free Admission!

Especially Gyeongbukgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace as well as Jongmyo Shrine, Yeongneung & Nyeongneung Royal Tombs and Seolleung and Jeongneung. But for Changdeokgung Palace, admission fee is required for Huwon guided tour.

Further more, such as exhibitions at MMCA Seoul and National Science Museum also offer free admission.

The period for free admission is from January 24 to January 27.
